You want BRSTMs? I’ll make them!

I am going to handle most of the song requests for BigSharkZ. Go ahead and post any requests you have in the topic, all you have to do is post a link to the file and you’re set. I’ll be able to use most audio formats you give to me. You can even give me video files including Youtube/Dailymotion links, and I’ll extract the audio and convert it to a BRSTM.

If you have any special considerations for how you want the song to be edited or looped, please let me know. I will handle many different editing requests (i.e. I want the song to be louder, add reverb, mix these two songs in some way) and I will do it. If you want your song used as a Victory Theme, then you have to let me know.

    Sorry, yeah the game list have grown a lot since I checked it, there’s actually 3 more games there I were considering requesting from. The reason I want to know how to convert to brstm is that I consider putting in some sound that only i personally would find lulzworthy, like shouting something before the menu theme starts and stuff like that. I’m decent in Audacity so I could mix tunes myself and export to MP3/waw, then all I need to do when converting to Brstm is set a loop right?

    Ok, if you’re going to be releasing Brstms there are a few things you’ll need to do:
    1. Get proper loop points, don’t have a song fade out and then start over and try not to have a song skip at the loop point (Unless for some reason that’s what someone wants)
    2. Shorten the song as much as you can without having any effect on the track, don’t have multiple loops in the brstm (yeah, that wasn’t very clear)
    3. Try to use start loop points that are multiples of 14336, the brstm drivers in Brawl only seeks properly to the loop point if it is a multiple of 14336. It will skip if the start loop point is not a multiple of 14336 even though it loops fine on the computer
    4. That’s all I can think of now, just follow those guidelines and you should be fine

    I thought more just for personal use but I could always help out a little i guess. But What I was asking is, how do you convert an MP3/waw to brstm??? I have Winamp and the in_cube.plugin but I’ve only managed to convert the other way.

    1. I don’t know how to tell where to loop. Audacity doesn’t have a loop indicatior. I typically try to loop by setting it up via audacity.
    2.I’ll try and do that.

    I don’t know about Audacity, but in Goldwave you can have it tell you the sample instead of the time, just find the samples you want it to loop and enter those into the converter

    dunno if your still taking requests or not, but I have a song I would like to make, in MP3 Format, I also have Androu1’s tool, and Audacity unfortunatly I have no clue how to convert my MP3 file to a BRSTM file, is it possible?
