Super Mario 64 is one of my favorite games and i make a SM64 Mario before and then i thougt i use an emerald texture to make SM64 Metal Mario. So i ripped the Metal Mario Texture from the n64 rom and made it over the emerald texture. And the result is awsome. The only problem with Marios emerald textures are his eyes.
edit: i found a way how to fix the problem with the eyes. ill post pics tomorow and then i tell you how to do that.

you should be able to edit at least part of the eyes on metal mario. not sure if you can edit the whole eye, or not.
^ I don’t think it’s possible. I’ve tried on Marth, and they still became white. They change when a Smashball is obtained though.

Also, before I start using Smashball Kirby, you did prevent the FS eyes from messing up? Right?

You should use the original textures from Mario 64. It’s not that hard to get them. I can supply the textures if you’d like.
