I need a hand really quick.

kso, I want to know how to swap models. Particularly AT-to-character and trophy-to-character. I pretty much have it figured out (I think), but I can’t find character or trophy models. I don’t really want to go into details as for what I plan to do with them, since I want it to be a surprise. An awesome surprise.

Also, teaser pic.

And if I must, I will go into details about my plans. But only if I have to. I do not like spoilers.

Good news, bad news.

EDIT AGAIN: It’s back. God dammit.

EDIT: I fixed the problem. Turns out it was a faulty CSS.

Good news is, I’ve restarted the Dark Interloper moveset. I was planning to just edit the old one, but it would probably be more work than starting from scratch. Also, because of some new knowledge I have recently obtained, I can remove his shield without a size mod code, so it makes it much simpler. The new one will still use the sword a bit, though. Combine this with the new understanding of how to speed up and slow down animations and you get a huge improvement on the original moveset.

I feel that I should still give something here. But all I have right now is a CSP, and that’s pretty useless without the moveset. So here’s a random picture of an incomplete stage texture. See if you can guess what it is.

Not like it’s hard, but whatever.

Something wicked this way comes…

A finished stage and a monster of darkness.

I’ve been in the mood for fixing up my old textures, (hence Norfair Depths and Bridge to Hell) so here is yet another stage texture swap that I wasn’t satisfied with: Eldin Falls.

I redid this one from scratch. And like Norfair Depths, I went kind of crazy on transparencies.

As for the character… if you’ve been paying attention to my DeviantArt page, then you will recognize the name as a character from my (currently postponed) fangame, Zelda: Memories of Legend; but more specifically, you may recognize it as the most powerful boss in the game. So it’s only fitting that it goes on Meta Knight.

In the darkest caverns of Norfair…

Yet another stage texture swap. Coincidentally, this was originally my first attempt at a stage texture.  But at the time, of course, I had no idea what I was doing, so it didn’t even work. So now that I finally have a grasp on everything (and I do mean pretty much everything, I just now figured out +2 textures), I redid it, and I now present…

Norfair Depths.

No music for you this time, though. And before you say it, I know this isn’t my best texture, to say the least. But I just wanted to get some more stages done. And I like how the lighting changes as the magma rises.

How come Link’s the only one that can travel through time?

I fixed the download link. It should work now.

You’d think Ganondorf of all people would be able to. Oh well, nothing we can do about it.

OR IS THERE? :O

Oh, I went there. Being the Ganondorf fanboy that I am, I felt this game needz moar ganin. So I now present a triple post: a texture, stage and moveset. A post that might actually rival Twilight Suit Samus.

But what is it, you ask? Remember Young Link from Melee? Of course you do. Well, I jumped on the youth bandwagon and brought Ganondorf with me.

Now, I didn’t do as much to this as I would have liked. As it turns out though, even if I did he would still be pretty much the same. Random fact, this is the first of about 5 or 6 movesets I’ve done that I can actually say is finished. Naturally there are a few things that could be tweaked, but nothing’s perfect.

And just FYI, the site apparently cut off the right side of every picture.

Beyond the Mirror…

I know I haven’t made a post in a long time, but that’s mainly because I’ve been pretty wrapped up in movesets (4 1/2, total) and other things. Anyway, with Halloween a week and a half away, I figured this would be a good time to post a stage texture. I was going to keep this to myself, but I figure at least a few people will appreciate it, and that makes it a success in my book. And since there’s barely any Distant Planet textures (I’ve only seen one) so it’s good for the people that want a texture for every stage.

Now, it’s not my best work. I’m aware there are places that could be fixed. Why don’t I, you ask? Because I’m not. So there.

So without further ado, here is the Twilight Realm.

Wolf Songs: http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/11/2/2170666/Wolf%20Songs.brstm

Wolf Songs was originally going to be Zant’s theme, but the file was inexplicably corrupted, so I had to replace it.

Transparencies made easy, and here’s how.

Me, of all people, making a guide to transparencies? I bet no one saw that coming.

Basically, I’m making this little guide for the people that don’t know how to make transparencies, since very few people that do feel like releasing that information. But the thing is, I use a much different method than most people.

From what little information I’ve gathered, using Photoshop from transparencies is, although effective, a bit tedious and confusing to nooblets like me. Now I don’t use Photoshop in the first place, I use Photo Impact. It’s essentially the same thing, but has a different layout and features and such. It’s not my place to say it’s better, but there’s one area where Photo Impact wins.

When you open a texture with transparencies on it (for example, Zelda), everything will be outlined. So everything that can be transparent, like her armour, will have a blue outline. Now over on the left, a tool should already be selected (the icon is a dotted-line square). If not, click it. On one of the top bars, there’s a + and -. Now let’s say to want to remove parts of her dress. Just click the – and drag a box. There, it’s gone. Want to add something in? Click + and drag a box. Now it’s back. It’s that simple.

Alrighty, so now that information’s out there. And this totally wasn’t just to make hype for Zora Link.

When all was chaos…

The Goddesses descended and gave order and life to the world. They granted power equally to all who dwelt in the light, and then returned to the heavens. The lands where the Goddesses descended came to be known as the Sacred Realm. For ages, people lived at ease, content in mind and body… but soon, word of the Sacred Realm spread through Hyrule, and a great battle ensued…

Among those living in the light, interlopers who excelled at magic appeared. Wielding powerful sorcery, they tried to establish dominion over the Sacred Realm. It was then that the Goddesses ordered the three Light Spirits to intervene. They sealed away the great magic those individuals had mastered.

Ages later, a great tournament was scheduled to take place. Only the fiercest fighters were allowed to participate. It was a globally renowned event, that was set to make history as the greatest battle the world had ever known. The tournament was called Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

The tournament raged on for over a year. Yet no clear winners arose. It began to grow dull, and the spectators were hungry for more. And among the spectators… were those three Goddesses. An interesting thought occurred to them. They already had four competitors fighting on their behalf, but none of them seemed to be making progress. What if they called in someone new, to tip the scales in their favour? The problem was, they knew of no one strong enough… at first.

It was an incredibly risky decision. There was, indeed, one strong enough to participate. One who had not been spoken of since the time he was sealed. And that seal… has just been broken.

Yay for continuations!

Remember the Kingdom Hearts Link I did? Well, here’s Zelda.

Reference, yo: http://arvalis.deviantart.com/art/Kingdom-Hearts-Zelda-Colored-93520044

I had to make more changes to this one than I would have liked. I kept her normal hair colour, but I had to keep the dress because… well, you know. But anyway, pics nao.

Anyway, as for the moveset I keep hinting at, I have to say that it has already been guessed. Below are three characters. One of these in the correct one.

Malo

Zora

Dark Link

Only one is right, but another might be made later on.

And I didn’t realize this before, but one of the pictures has another hint in it that I didn’t notice until now. Let’s see who can find it first.
