Yep! The last level of Mario Kart will be replacing the that eight figure circuit. I made the one from mario Kart Wii. So for those of you who wanted to make your own still have the other few to design from. Well I think this one is also far from done in some ways, but in other ways it’s perfect….. Ya know? Well maybe if you take a walk with me down Rainbow Road you’ll know! Come on!

It’s called a road, it’s called a rainbow road! It is a road that you go! (references lawl)

The road actually looks more like the snes one.
I reckon you should change the sky to galaxy, more of a RR feel.
I honestly can;t wait to play on these stages. They’re so amazing. PLease release them soon ^^

Once again this is a nice start. I’m not sure where you will go from here, because there are a couple ways you could do this.

You could keep your original design and just add the touch ups (i.e. the sky scrapers, the sky, the road, etc). Make it appear more like a newly created design that stands out from all of the other Rainbow Road installments.

Or, you could follow the model of the Wii’s Rainbow Road, meaning you would get rid of the crowd stands, mushrooms, trees, and skyscrapers. You would also make the floor look exactly like the sky (since there is no visible floor in Rainbow Road), and add a few random planets in the sky.

Until the next update, who knows…

That is the coolest thing ever.

Ohh, man….Bluz is going to be really, really pissed (He made a Rainbow Road too, but he was unable to hex it)

Anyway, good work, But i don’t like it at all, i just dislike the Rainbow Roads of the new generations (don’t looks like a real challenge for me and i don’t like the design of them, same with the music), my love is with SNES Rainbow Road and N64 Rainbow Road, 😛 (More with SNES Rainbow Road, :P)

oooooh! not bad, not bad at all

  10. 10 S. 02/25/2009 at 11:40 AM

    Awesome. O:
I was tempted to make a Rainbow-esque Road a while back, but I heard it had +2s and +1s and I declined. 😛

i would have thought mute city for rainbow road, but this is still epic.

  12. 12 starshadow76 02/25/2009 at 2:33 PM

If only mute city was in this game lol

And I actually was asked to move this to the Big Blue….. I’m considering it.

  13. 13 SuperCoins 02/25/2009 at 5:22 PM

    @Super Yirbi
We can’t edit models. So we can’t remove the things like the stands and skyscrapers.

  14. 14 Moosehunter 02/25/2009 at 6:27 PM

    OMG!! Amazing!!
Can’t wait to play on these stages

  15. 15 Super Yirbi 02/25/2009 at 8:31 PM

Well, that’s fine. A more modern touch up would be good as well.

But what WOULD Rainbow Road look like on Big Blue or New Port City (addressing starshadow76’s idea)?

  16. 16 WEDGE 02/25/2009 at 9:28 PM

This is the best custom stage you guys have released. Nice one!

  18. 18 Mario 02/26/2009 at 3:07 PM

its a road that’cha go when y’a diieee

  19. 19 DarkFalcon 02/26/2009 at 8:45 PM

Why not make the grass invisible (if that’s possible) so you see the background under the road. You would have to change all the background to outer space tho, which you should do anyway.

All you need for viewing the beauty of the stages fully is the unrestricted replay and pause cameras. I forgot who made them:

    Unrestricted Replay camera:
    0409E934 60000000
    0409E93C 60000000
    0409E9AC FC201890
    0409E9B8 FC600090
    0409E9BC FC000890
    0409E9C8 FC001890
    Unrestricted Pause Camera:
    040A7D60 4E800020
    04109D88 38800001
Lolz, small code, but most effective.
