This was supposed to be a finished Spear Destination, but instead we got the weirdest glitch I’ve ever seen.

I had just done what I thought would be the final version of the stage, until I played it and found two very… unsual things about it…

First, items don’t appear. At all. In any mode, with any characters, on any setting. But only for this stage.

Second, it uses the lighting from the last stage played. For example, if you play on Battlefield and then go to FD, the stage will be brighter than normal. If you went to Shadow Moses Island, it will be blue. If you went to Pirate Ship, it will be very bright. I have examples below. These were taken before the background appeared. The lighting only affects the stage itself.

Even weirder, it seems to be only those 3 stages that affect it.

This isn’t necessarily a bad or annoying glitch, it’s more like an “omgwtf” glitch.

Cursed lands does the exact same thing. It happens when you change one of the lighting textures.

yea I havenet fixed it yet either. If u changed the contrast of the big triangles on the stage it messes everything up.

Yeah, same thing happened to me, but when I tried to manually hack the Halberd. Crazy stuff happened then.

you know, my first FD stage texture i made had this glitch. it was my neon destination. i remember the effects were, everything is normal and the stage is a low colored white, everything including the characters are much more saturated, and the last one made the stage turn yellow. no items appeared on that either. maybe you could run some tests on it? if so, there is a DL in my thread at KC forums. its in my oldest thread.
