    Aaaawwww… I’ve been looking around SmashBoards for a while but have never registered… I hope there’s enough people that visit this site that also have more than 50 comments on Smashboards. If Phantom Wings says he’s willing to release it if we comply by sending messages, then at least a functioning beta is ready.

    just download the file with no numbers at the end, and you can’t drag the file to SA u have to open SA first and then open it from there. It worked for me.

    I have vista maybe thats the problem, and these rnt effect files (ef_[char].pac) they r animation files (fit[char].pac)

    im hoping a tutorial will come out soon with this. after reading the “notes” that came with it i was a little confused. is there a link someone can give me that can show me the values for effects, hitboxes, and other things like that? im currently trying to edit captain falcon and im just assuming what things are and experimenting.

    I have vista and it works fine for me, well loading characters at least, I haven’t actually tried to make a character cause I don’t understand most of this. Just saying it’s probably not a vista problem, if you are having loading issues.

    just open the calculator on your computer and intput the number you have to convert to hex and then click the hex button thing and then it will convert, and vise versa i have no time to fully explain it

    hmmmm the file your opening is FIT(char).pac right? im sure you knew that, but try other characters. ive only done C falcon so i wouldnt know if there was a problem with other character pacs

    i have a idea, when you open the file it makes tempX.bin X=(1-9) in the data folder, how about someone take those files and send them to me so i can put them in my data folder and see what happens, i understand if no one is up to the task.

    Im not really sure why this is but, after modding captain falcon to make his back air do 100 damage, it does 104 in game, I wonder why that is cause I know I put the correct hex for 100

    it’s just called damage

    its always listed in “Offensive Collision” and is third on the list, when u highlight the offensive collision by clicking on that line of code, u then hit modify
    and window will pop up, its very simple from there on, also remember that u have to convert damage points into hex, so for example 100 damage =64

    It’s hard for a reason. It’s because it’s complex stuff. If you can’t figure it out, you probably won’t be able to use the program unless someone babies you along the way. The best way to do stuff is to experiment. It can’t hurt.

    I changed damage to change the damage lol

    Just convert however damage you want 1-999 to hex and put it in value.

    Heres an example.

    3E7 is hex for 999

    And, no need to do it in “hex”. You can just click *Forgot how it was called, but it’s where “Value, Scalar, etc” are. Type the number normally and it will convert automaticly.

    I know a good moveset for Shadow Queen on Peach.

    B Neutral – Shadow Taunt: The Shadow Queen dances around, toying with her opponent with a shadow ritural that makes her dance around for painful shadow effects…. okay, it’s one of Princess Peach’s taunts with shadow effects.

    B Side – Shadow Bomb: Same as Peach’s side-b move, but with Shadow Effects.

    Strong Attack up (Up move that’s not a smash attack) – Same as Peach’s Strong attack Up, but with electric effects.

    B Up – Parasol: Same, but with shadow effects.

    Smash side – Darksaber: Similar to Mario’s Fire Sword attack, but with shadow effects instead of flames.

    B Down – Shadow Summoning: Summons a Phantom Ember… OKAY, A HOTHEAD! But you can edit the texture and effects to make it a phantom ember. That aside, it’s a replica of Peach’s Veggie grab, but with Hothead instead of veggie.

    Final Smash (If it becomes possible): Try to make it similar to ZSS’s final smash, but make it darker. Would be good for Shadow Queen’s most powerful attack. 😀

    How are WE screwed? That just means we have the upper-hand and they couldn’t even come close to competing with us on their own. Even AFTER they merge, will they be good enough to compete? Nobody knows yet, but that just says that we don’t need to merge to feel secure with our status as a hacking team.
