Slow week, huh? Yeah, me too.


As I’ve said more times than I can remember, I still can’t use my precious Wii. However, I’ve continued with textures and movesets. I’ve made progress with Magma Bowser, but not too much. I also did a texture for Pirate Ship to go with Magma Bowser: the S.S. Koopa (I just thought of that name on the spot). I can’t test them for obvious reasons, so I need me some picz nao. Which is where I need your help.

Edit: v10 – Finalized side taunt, fixed up tilt and added collisions for down B.

Edit: v9 – Thanks to Master Hax, I’ve finally seen the moveset so far, and made changes I believe will fix some problems with side taunt, up tilt and down B. However, it seems to crash. If someone with experience in this field could examine it for problems, I would very much appreciate it.

I also want to take some time to get input on how to continue MB. I’ve made big changes to his potential moveset, as listed below. Attacks with a * have effects, ones with a ^ have collisions, and ones with a ! have animations. Keep in mind some might not work.

!*^U-tilt – Fire Jet: He raises his fist and fire shoots straight up. Deals more damage closer to Bowser’s fist.

D-tilt – Belly Flop: No explaination needed.

*S-B – Pyro Hamer: He makes a hammer out of fire and swings it 3 times. Unable to be completed at this time.

!*^D-B – Hellfire: Bowser releases all his energy at once in a ridiculously powerful explosion. To balance it out, Bowser is stunned afterwards and can’t move at all until he’s hit. The attack has a whopping 25 collision points. There’s the main explosion, which deals more damage closer to the center. At the very center, where Bowser is, deals 100% damage! The explosions fires four trails of fire in seperate directions, and each part of the trails do different damage and knockback.

S-smash – Drill Claw: Bowser’s most powerful attack from Mario RPG. Bowser first swipes with one arm, then drills into the enemy with his other one.

FINAL SMASH – Immolation: Bowser unleashes a massive barrage of fire, resembling Mario’s FS, but more focused and much faster.

Dash and stomp attacks also remain intact. Anyway, download plz.

    BTW v9 crashed on mine. Also have Brawl+, incase it has something to do with it.

    I personally think overpowered moves should do damage to the charcter itself or have that shield break effect but that is just my opinion heed no mind if you disagree. ^^

    Speaking of which, epic, it seems that yours is the only one v8 worked for. I checked the video posted ealier, and the attack ended with his normal vB.

    On a similar note, I need someone else to try v9. The last tester uses Brawl+, and I vaguely recall hearing that movesets might not work with it.

    1337 Falco crashes randomly, too. It seems to have to do with textures.

    I had a feeling the two were affecting each other. Back when my Wii worked, it wouldn’t run textures and movesets for the same character. But that was fixed when I got the updated Homebrew channel.

    hey i tested out bowser it makes a huge explosion theres no knockback or collision yet though and if i use b down in the air when he lands hes in the state when u brake ur shield

    Update: Finalized the side taunt, altered up tilt, and added collisions for down B. Once the second and third are done, I’ll see what I can do for the side smash.

    You know, the more I try to make this stupid thing work right, the more it pisses me off. It’s bad enough I have to wait for someone else to test it for me, but most of the time it doesn’t even work. Until the Wii is fixed, I’m done with this. I won’t make any more updates until I can try it myself.

    If someone else wants to f*** around with it, go right ahead. If you have a solution, even better. But unless I know something will work, I’m done for now.

    Come to think of it, when I started out making the moveset, a lot of times it didn’t work the first few times I tried it, but when I did later, it worked. So that might be the case here.

    I doubt it, though. And I stand by what I said earlier. No more updates until I have a Wii again.
