Massive Music Update Thing

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, and I’ve done alot of work since then.
Anyway, I haven’t posted a music update other than in the music page’s comments since before summer so decided I’d make an ‘official’ post.

Basically I’ve been taking entire video game soundtracks and converting them to brstm’s.

You can download them at

The ones I’ve done so far are:
F-Zero GX
Kingdom Hearts Re – Chain of Memories
Kirby Airride
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2
Metroid Prime 3
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Pokemon Battle Revolution
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness
Shadow the Hedgehog
Sonic Adventure
Sonic Adventure 2
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Sonic Heroes
Sonic Unleashed
Sonic and the Black Knight
Super Mario Galaxy
Tales of Symphonia
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
The World Ends With You

Some other single tracks I’ve done are:
Final Fantasy VI – Battle Theme
Final Fantasy VII – Advent Children – One-Winged Angel
Final Fantasy XIII – Battle Theme
Kirby Super Star – Gourmet Race
Kirby Super Star Ultra – Masked Dedede Theme
Legend of Zelda – Ocarina of Time – Kokiri Forest
Phantom Hourglass – Final Boss
Pokemon Platnum – Giratina Battle
Smash Bros. Melee – Targets!
Sonic 2006 – All Hail Shadow (Crush 40)
Sonic 2006 – His World (Crush 40)
Sonic 2006 – His World
Super Mario Sunshine – Bianco Hills

Total Count ≈ 1500 brstm’s

Songs marked with a “(Not Looped)” are obviously not looped, and are suitable for victory themes.
Those with a “(Custom Loop)” are ones that I’ve looped instead of having them simply end and start again. I’ll start updating current songs with an updated looped version once I deal with this other crap I have to do

For those of you wondering all of these songs are In stereo, looped properly, and all of them have start loop points that are multiples of 14336 so that they don’t skip when they loop in-game. (The only exceptions are the Metroid Prime games. I was going to apply the fix once I tagged them but I was too lazy and never got around to it)

Which reminds me: If there’s anybody that would like to help tag the songs that aren’t properly tagged (ex. boss_last2.brstm instead of Perfect Dark Gaia.brstm) it would be greatly appreciated, just post in the comments or something.

The next soundtracks I’m going to post are Chrono Cross (Already 75% done, just have to get off my lazy butt and do the rest), and Sonic 2006.

And If anybody has any Requests, Post them here. (Though I may or may not get to them) Provide a link to the track with the request preferably in a lossless format or a high quality mp3. No youtube videos. If a psf or variant of psf is available (ex. DS-2sf, N64-USF, SNES-SPC, PS2-PSF2 etc.) post that instead of the mp3 file.

I’m already using a lot of your music. If you can, could you do the Super Paper Mario and Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver soundtrack?

I was actually going to do pokemon music in general, mainly battle themes or pieces that could be used as battle things

  7. 7 Tyeforce 09/25/2009 at 11:00 PM

Oh, okay, cool. Yeah, it’s not really worth converting the whole HG/SS soundtrack, since a lot of Pokémon music isn’t very suitable for Smash Bros. But you should definitely do the legendary Pokémon themes from HeartGold/SoulSilver.

Also, how did my last YouTube link turn into a video? .-. XD

    sonic music is the best

  9. 9 Oni Kage 09/26/2009 at 3:03 PM

very nice moose. are these custom looped or do they just start over?

  10. 10 PAVGN 09/26/2009 at 4:19 PM

Since you are doing entire video game soundtracks, I was wondering If you could do the soundtrack for the PC and SNES versions of Earthworm Jim. I can provide all of the songs in MP3 format If necessary.

  11. 11 Vyse 09/27/2009 at 1:28 AM

@Tyeforce: You know I’ve done every battle theme from HG/SS already? I forgot the Hoenn legendary theme, but all the rest have been done for several days.

  12. 12 Mewcario 09/27/2009 at 12:30 PM

Is there any way to download an entire folder, as opposed to each song individually?

  13. 13 b2j135 09/27/2009 at 3:54 PM

I second the motion to do the OST of Pokemon HG/SS, I would love if you did that as well ^_^

  14. 14 moosehunter 09/27/2009 at 7:24 PM

    Try JDownloader

    @Oni Kage
They’re all looped. The only ones that don’t loop are ones that didn’t have loop points to begin with.

Oh, I didn’t know you had done the legendary Pokémon themes already. I did download your HG/SS music when you first posted it, though. The only problem… I don’t have enough Pokémon stages for all the music. XD It’d be awesome if someone combined a few songs together, so I could have more than one battle theme per song. That way I could fit all of them in just a few songs. Maybe something like…

    — Johto Wild Pokemon Battle
    — Johto Trainer Battle
    — Johto Gym Leader and Elite Four Battle

    — Kanto Wild Pokemon Battle
    — Kanto Trainer Battle
    — Kanto Gym Leader Battle

    — Rival Battle
    — Vs. Team Rocket

    — Vs. Champion
    — Vs. Frontier Brain

    — Vs. Lugia
    — Vs. Ho-oh
    — Vs. Legendary Pokémon of Hoenn

    — Vs. Raikou
    — Vs. Entei
    — Vs. Suicune

Just group those themes together so there would only be 6 BRSTMs.

    that’s what i said

just copy the folder’s url into it and it’ll download all of them
btw, don’t put in the eshmusic url unless you want it downloading about 1.5 thousand brstms

    2 questions
1)Did you release you brstm editor? I would be willing to help make some loops of more songs if I could just get my hands on a good editor XD
    2) How did you remove the small silent buffering regions at the start and finish of the looped songs? Whenever I make my song (I have tried audacity and goldwave) it ends up having a tiny amount of silence at the very beginning and very end, so the loops all sound a tiny bit off

  20. 20 moosehunter 10/06/2009 at 10:25 PM

    2) Buffering region? I don’t know why they would have an impact on the looping
