Isn’t Charizard a Dragon?

Don’t Dragons normally have scales…?

I recolored some parts of charizard, applied several photoshop texturizer effects (to make the scales and leather wings) and I made his stomach more like the underbelly of a snake

Dragon-Zard

I am the person before second!
Texture is pretty cool, but charizards body isn’t really….. Dragon-like enough for this to be WTF AWESOMEST THING EVER!

it’s the least amount of effort i’ve put into a texture yet, and I couldn’t really think of anything to do with the underbelly than extend his regular underbelly and burn the crease-things into it…

    so, whatever

Hahaha, AWESOME! You could do the same with Squirtle (a turtle, reptile, yeah… XD) and Ivysaur (he’s a plant-Pokémon, but have “saur” in the name, sooooo)…

i would like to request a remake of an older texture i requested (Mecha dragon from MM2), but with more details and more robotical shits

I believe it would be better if you were to make it a darker green, personally.

    But I love it. 😀

Really good work. Will use this when I’ll have time..(Even more work to do >_>)

Why does it reminds me of MM2’s Mecha-Dragon?

  11. 11 MeleeMaster500 10/02/2009 at 2:37 PM

because their color schemes are similar, I would assume. mecha-dragon is based on a stereotypical dragon, and, along with a chubby body, the two characters (charizard and mecha-dragon) look pretty similar.

hmm, i hope you don’t mind if i use this as a base for future textures of mine. i’ll give you credit

go ahead, it’s just a recolor of his default costume with photoshopped scale and leathery skin texturizer filters.

I made the leathery skin while accidentally attempting to make a silky texture for gruntilda’s robes. it turned out to be more like vein-filled leather-tough aged skin than smooth silk…lol
