Wait…is that Missingn-*CRUNCH*

Well, todays texture was SUPPOSED to be a Tallon Metroid. But due to some…technical difficulties…you get this instead…

I dub thee Glitchroid. An ever changing texture, there are a seemingly limitless forms this creature can take. I can subdivide this species into three independant groups.

The first, I call the Lace Glitchroid. It seems to appear the most. The “bubble” has been replaced with a semi-transparent pattern of white (resembling lace) which can vary by pattern. The talons often have markings on them, and the insides are usually changed. One I have come across has a strange ability, when you take a snapshot and save it, it brightens instantly on the pause screen. This doesn’t happen much.

Next, the Vibrant Glitchroid. This one is pretty awesome, and each one is drastically different. In addition to a colorful pallate, they possess the odd tendancy to carry a few sections of flashy pixels. Even on the pause screen, perfectly still, sections will flicker like fireflies.

There is one, final, rare Glitchroid that is so deadly, I couldn’t capture it’s picture. It has never been seen. Why is that? Because this is the Crash Glitchroid, and freezes the game before you can even see what it looks like. Don’t worry, out of a couple dozen I summoned, only one of these appeared. If you are playing normally with an equal chance for any Assist Trophy to appear, then you shouldn’t have an issue.

Download up soon.

What technical difficulties did you have?

The complete and utter failure of the texture, mainly. 😛 I only edited the talons and the bubble layer is Smashbox, and it caused this to happen.

Really, this is cooler than what it was supposed to be…

    metroid

My favorite would have to be the one in the third pic. Wireframe Metroid, FTW.

I love all of ’em, but I want the Crash Glitchtroid the most for some reason.

On another note, I’m clueless on how to update the roster. Any attempts to ammend the table end in failure.

    Help?

    @ shadowsquid86

Pretty much just copy and paste ready-made code. That’s what I did.. 😄

That’s weird, but awesome at the same time. I was going to make a Tallon Metroid and a Fission Metroid, but I never got around to it.

    @S.-
I guess I was made on accident then. Hahahaha.

I had a similar texture glitch when I edited ganondorf’s texture to look like a phantom, the textures wrapped the model in weird ways but it still ended up rather nice anyways
