In the darkest caverns of Norfair…

Yet another stage texture swap. Coincidentally, this was originally my first attempt at a stage texture.  But at the time, of course, I had no idea what I was doing, so it didn’t even work. So now that I finally have a grasp on everything (and I do mean pretty much everything, I just now figured out +2 textures), I redid it, and I now present…

Norfair Depths.

No music for you this time, though. And before you say it, I know this isn’t my best texture, to say the least. But I just wanted to get some more stages done. And I like how the lighting changes as the magma rises.

Awesome! It seems like the Brawl Norfair was mainly based on the one from Super Metroid. This one looks more like Norfair on the original Metroid. I still haven’t entirely figured out indexing. I tried to make a texture of Brinstar a while back that looked like Tourian from MZM after it blows up so the lava would be green, but it didn’t work at all.

It’s pretty cool looking, but I’m not replacing my Cannon’s Core texture =P

This is awesome but I think you should have made the Chozo statue into the The Golden Torizo.
