Something wicked this way comes…

Wall-o-text warning.

The princess paced uneasily about the small room. She couldn’t really place why she was so uncomfortable, given the very typical circumstances she once again found herself in. You would think that Bowser would’ve gone with a new theme for his castle by now.

No, it wasn’t Bowser’s questionable tastes that made her uncomfortable. This was no typical kidnapping. She didn’t know how she knew it, but there was not a doubt in her mind. Normally, Bowser would’ve been lurking about, taunting her about yet another failed escape. Yet he was no where to be seen.

That’s not a bad thing per se, but still unusual.

Peach began lose track of time. How long had it been this time, an hour, maybe two? Regardless, the time spent waiting for Mario to arrive was rarely well-spent. The passing Koopas would occasionally provide a chuckle or two, due to their inability to complete even simple tasks without trouble. This time was no different.

And yet, she still had that feeling.

Her thoughts were interrupted but the sudden clangs of the lock opening. A pair of Koopatrol guards, without a word, escorted her away. They walked for seemingly ten minutes or more, down endless flights of stairs and dark corridors. The only lighting came from scarcely placed torches, casting a meagre glow spanning roughly a five foot radius at most.

A sudden dip in the stone floor almost sent Peach toppling to the floor, however she retained her balance; until she felt a sudden jab between her shoulder blades, and she collapsed. She jerked her head around, ready to give those turtles a piece of her mind; but they were already gone.

This room was new to her. Then again, it might not have been. There was virtually no light whatsoever, save for the very dim blaze in the distance. Hesitantly, she stood and began to make her way through the darkness. The only thing she could discern for sure was her feet no longer collided with stone; her heels were making a loud clang sound, like metal.

She wasn’t even within a few yards of the torch when low, rhythmic rumbles began to echo. They grew louder and louder, until they couldn’t be more than ten feet from her; until they stopped. A long, hollow sound emanated from behind her, like wind. Yet none was present.

A sudden, startling sound was heard; the surprise stiffening her spine and halting her breath. It was a voice, clearly; but very deep and vile sounding.

“Welcome, princess… to the Koopa Troop.”

A foreign object connected with the back of her neck; at that moment, something seemed to flow from it, an unnamed force enveloped her, and her mind became clouded. Her neck burned; whatever had touched her seemed to have seared her flesh, sending an agonizing sensation down her spine. Then the pain subsided. The dark world around her seemed to penetrate her mind, and her consciousness began to vanish.

The voice appeared again. “Now listen carefully: when you awaken, you will not remember the events that occurred here. You will be in your room, with nothing wrong. You will go about your business as normal. Tonight, I will come to you again. We will return here, and you will become an agent under my command.”

Those words were the last thing she heard before her mind was lost forever…

Wewt, another texture and moveset to boot. Kind of weird that I’m still not done Dark Interloper and Magma Bowser yet, huh?

But anyway, I know the story leaves exactly what this will be a bit of a mystery. To be honest, I wasn’t sure where I was going with it at first either. It started as screwing around with Peach’s textures, but then everything else just started falling into place.

And now Princess Peach has been brought to the dark side, under her new name: Shade Peach.

This moveset is debatable as far balance goes. Her attacks are weaker than average, but her ridiculous recovery and the whole bombs thing more than makes up for it.

And check this out: I even made a CSP for her.

    I always think to myself “How lucky I am to have found such a talented person!” when I see your updates. Great job. The knives idea is really cool.

    Love the texture. Kind of bland, color-wise, but the knives pretty much saved you from any and all criticisms.

    @Lexx

    Don’t worry, I’m going to make one without the items.

    @BigSharkZ

    O RLY? That’s pretty surprising, all things considered.

    @gehaga

    An item spawning moveset? That’s a pretty good idea, you’ve got my download out of interest, I just hope the movesets as good as it looks!

    Y’know, I hope we can one day hack Brawl to include new items…

  9. 9 fireking220 11/09/2009 at 4:06 PM

    @Chicken Chaser

    Adding new items would be the same thing as adding new characters (like the character count increases from 35 to 37 or something)

    It’s impossible unless we recode brawl. That means we have to make a different ISO image when we wanna add new characters.

    Its Impossible

    Epic update @_@ Texture and moveset are both very awesome, can’t wait to try ’em out

    tl;dr

    @fireking220-
    That’s what they said about model hacking, replacing music, brawl-able SSE stages, etc.

    @Razanak7-
    Best PSA hack I’ve ever seen honestly. That last pic reminds me of Megan Fox….except a dangerously low breast size….

    Oh and the item spawn is the only thing that kind of ruins it. I mean c’mon a homerun bat?

  13. 13 razanak7 11/10/2009 at 8:06 AM

    @SlainUnderFire77

    I never said it does… it’s just for example. Note how the caption says nothing about it.

    Also, if you think this is the best, then you clearly haven’t seen Shad0wH3ro’s Zero moveset.

    Seriously, I fangasmed. And I don’t even like Mega Man games.

    @razanak7
    How do I find it? 😀

  16. 16 Lexx 11/10/2009 at 9:14 AM

    @ razanak7

    Eladrin(sp?) you mean?

    I assume they were the same person, but yes.

    Lmao “The exploding ass attack”
    about time someone made a peach moveset… though someone IS making a Rosalina… anyway, I’ll be using this for now, even though I never use Peach, haha.
