Something. BigSharkZ figured it out.

EDIT:

“Well, it appears you’ve figured it out. The master mind behind this trick is Random, I only pulled the same exact stunt.

As a reward, you get download links to my “unfinished” textures, and my unfinished CSPs/SSPs I’ve been working on.

I say “unfinished” because nothing’s ever truly finished.

Have fun.

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=c45e9b227c34075aab1eab3e9fa335ca95498482d6bf3f57”

Thank BSZ for figuring it out. Enjoy.

Note: This is a texture update in some way, shape, or form (this update is more like a game, look at it that way).

What is the difference between The original picture, and the one I edited? Whoever finds the answer, I will release my stuff the same time.

The Original.

The edited one.

  4. 4 Mewcario 11/08/2009 at 9:05 PM

    Nothing?

  5. 5 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 9:09 PM

    I changed something, it’s only that it’s not an obvious guess.

    Here’s a hint, you’ll need to look at both the images themselves.

  6. 6 Mewcario 11/08/2009 at 9:12 PM

    I’m flipping back and forth between them in Paint.NET…

  7. 7 omgitsns9 11/08/2009 at 9:12 PM

    they have different URLs?

    no

    But idk. they look exactly the same. is one a small shade darker…? idk

  8. 8 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 9:14 PM

    Nope.

  9. 9 Mewcario 11/08/2009 at 9:22 PM

    Is like ONE pixel different?

  10. 10 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 9:25 PM

    No.

  11. 11 Mewcario 11/08/2009 at 9:26 PM

    Is it an image property, rather than a colour difference, that’s changed?

  12. 12 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 9:32 PM

    Nay.

  13. 13 STUFF2o 11/08/2009 at 9:37 PM

    Is it something extremely small, like only a couple of pixels?
    Is it a color difference?

  14. 14 Asian Boy Remix 11/08/2009 at 9:38 PM

    the edited one is edited. thats the difference!

  15. 15 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 9:39 PM

    None of that, and Asian Boy, lolno.

  16. 16 STUFF2o 11/08/2009 at 9:41 PM

    The “Difference” filter in Photoshop says there’s no difference at all. Everything is 000000 black.

  17. 17 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 9:42 PM

    There is a difference.

  18. 18 JeisonKen 11/08/2009 at 10:11 PM

    The difference is 0.

    1 picture minus 1 picture equals 0.

    Hmm?

  19. 19 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 10:12 PM

    Not even close.

  20. 20 Lexx 11/08/2009 at 10:13 PM

    I have an idea!
    The creators.

  21. 21 JeisonKen 11/08/2009 at 10:14 PM

    At least I gave it a shot…

    I sense madness.

  22. 22 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 10:16 PM

    Keep guessing.

  23. 23 HallowVortex 11/08/2009 at 10:17 PM

    I am almost positive there is no difference, I used gimp, had multiple layers zoomed in on one portrait, switched between layers as fast as possible so I would see any difference, then moved on to the next portrait, and repeated.

  24. 24 canon98 11/08/2009 at 10:21 PM

    Hehe…. I got the answer correct. (Shadow confirmed my answer.)
    I see what you did there. Good Luck to all trying to find out the answer, you’ll need it.

  25. 25 HallowVortex 11/08/2009 at 10:23 PM

    Wait it’s the number of colors! right?

  26. 26 Shukaku 11/08/2009 at 10:23 PM

    Yeah what Canon said.

  27. 27 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 10:24 PM

    @HallowVortex

    lolno

  28. 28 HallowVortex 11/08/2009 at 10:29 PM

    @shadow

    I’m right it’s just not the answer you are looking for, th colors have different values.

  29. 29 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 10:37 PM

    I find that impossible, but anyway, keep guessing.

  30. 30 S. 11/08/2009 at 10:45 PM

    Kinda remind me of CSPs.
    Or something.

  31. 31 hallowvortex 11/08/2009 at 10:52 PM

    Canon must be some sort of uber detective.

  32. 32 Canon98 11/08/2009 at 10:58 PM

    Yes, Yes I am.

    I’m am also a Bot and a Spy.

  33. 33 hallowvortex 11/08/2009 at 11:00 PM

    well, I give up, there is no visible difference, as far as I can see.

  34. 34 Val Halen 11/08/2009 at 11:20 PM

  35. 35 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 11:24 PM

    Lies but they are different. The edited one is 394 bytes larger

  41. 41 Shadow 11/08/2009 at 11:40 PM

    I know they’re different, but that’s not the answer.

  42. 42 nerdwithanafro 11/09/2009 at 12:08 AM

    There is a slightly brighter tint on the edited one.

    i feel bad now that you told me i was wrong…

    Time for random geuss:

  48. 48 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 12:30 AM

    THE NAME OF THE FILES ARE DIFFERENT. HAHAHAHA.

  49. 49 Ice Kirby 11/09/2009 at 12:33 AM

    less saturation?

  50. 50 Canon98 11/09/2009 at 12:34 AM

    Wow,you guys are trying too hard. The hint Shadow gave you is good though
    i was going to be my comment/hint to you all, but oh well he used it anyways,
    now to the comments

    @Xithma

    really? seriously? But no 😛

    @LookItsLink

    actually, you don’t need to use that. And no you are also wrong.

    returning to the game, keep trying people! Don’t you want the mystery prize?

  51. 51 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 12:40 AM

    Yup, either it’s the name of the files or a fucking conspiracy.

  52. 52 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 12:41 AM

    Or..it’s one of those textures in the SSE stages..the ones with the cast of characters. Maybe you’re planning on making all of these characters as textures or..models? Meh.

    Gimme the cake, nao.

    Off-topic: I think I suffer from Candida. Oh fuck.

    I just googled “Always farting” (Don’t laugh, I’ve been farting 30 to 50 times a day recently O_o) and found an infection or fungus, whatever, called Candida. I took a test to see if I have it and it said:

    Your score indicates that you have a Severe Chronic Candida Infection. This is quite serious and you should consider the 3 step protocol below.

    If you do not already know, Candida is a pathogenic yeast that can rapidly spread through the body and it is often found in our intestines, genital tract, and throat, but it can also be found encompassing the organs.

    Unfortunately this can cause an endless range of health problems for that person.

    These health problems can include:

    * abdominal gas
    * headaches
    * migraines
    * excessive fatigue
    * cravings for alcohol
    * anxiety
    * vaginitis
    * rectal itching
    * cravings for sweets
    * inability to think clearly or concentrate
    * hyperactivity
    * mood swings
    * diarrhea
    * constipation
    * hyperactivity
    * itching
    * acne
    * eczema
    * depression

    * poor memory
    * persistent cough
    * earaches
    * low sex drive
    * muscle weakness
    * irritability
    * learning difficulties
    * sensitivity to fragrances and/or other chemicals
    * cognitive impairment
    * thrush
    * athlete’s foot
    * sore throat
    * indigestion
    * acid reflux
    * chronic pain
    * sinus inflammation
    * pre-menstrual syndrome
    * dizziness
    * jock itch

    Those may seem like a lot of symptoms and we are certain that you have some of them or else you would have not landed on this page. The good news is that there is help and that you have come to the right place. If you want to rid your self of Candida/Yeast…and never suffer from the symptoms above you must complete all #3 Steps provided below.

    Here’s What You Need To Do:
    *You can read the detailed plan below on how to take the supplements.
    Step #1. => Begin a Colon Cleanse Supplement Immediately
    Step #2. => Begin taking an anti-fungal supplement Immediately
    Step #3. => Begin taking a Pro-Biotic Supplement Immediately

    The Candida Yeast Cleanse (Candida Treatment)

    What is the Key to Eliminating Candida? The best, and most effective way to get rid of Candida is by doing a complete, natural Candida Cleanse. Note: If you start taking anti-fungals first you will not get better, because your colon is full of mucoid plaque and toxins. Cleanse your colon first… then kill that Candida with Oregano Oil and than repopulate your intestines with good bacteria with a pro-biotic.

    Here is another thing you need to understand. You have to take supplements to get rid of Candida. There is no other way. Below is the complete Step by Step Supplement Regimen we recommend you follow.

    STEP #1

    Do colon cleansing for 2-3 months.

    This is such a crucial first step. To first eliminate Candida, we must clean our colon through bowel cleansing. Think about it: if your colon is clogged, and full of toxins, how will any anti-fungal (such as Oregano Oil) reach your intestines efficiently?

    The best way to colon cleanse for Candida sufferers is to take it every day for a few months. You might be asking yourself why for 2-3 months. Well this is because the average person has 10-20 pounds of undigested fecal matter in their colon and the only way you are going to get rid of it is by doing a colon cleanse for a few months. Period!

    Many people in alternative medicine forums such as CureZone rave about it.. there’s really no comparison to what a colon cleanse can do for you health and for your weight. Picture eliminating 10-20 pounds of fecal matter. You would be that much lighter with no exercise or dieting.

    => Click Here to Get the Recommended Colon Cleanse Immediately (International)

    (note: a new page will open, you will not lose this page)

    STEP #2

    Take an anti-fungal supplement for 2 weeks such as Oregano Oil.

    Our favorite anti-fungal is Oregano Oil, because it seems to work best. Follow the directions and guidelines in the label. You usually start out taking one capsule for the first few days, and gradually increasing the dosage until you’re taking 5-7 capsules a day (spread throughout the day).

    => Click Here to Get the Recommended Oregano Oil Immediately (International)

    (note: a new page will open, you will not lose this page)

    STEP #3

    After 2 weeks, take a high-quality pro-biotic

    Remember, Candidiasis is caused because the proportion of Candida to beneficial bacteria is not balanced. Adding more beneficial bacteria to your intestines by taking pro-biotics will help correct this balance.

    => Click Here to Get the Recommended Pro-Biotic Immediately (USA Only)

    (note: a new page will open, you will not lose this page)

    OR…

    => Click Here to Get the Recommended Pro-Biotic Immediately (International)

    (note: a new page will open, you will not lose this page)

    IMPORTANT!!!

    Future Considerations

    After 4 weeks, you may want to repeat steps 2-3 one more time. Take 2 more weeks of Oregano Oil, then 2 more weeks of the pro-biotics. But you need to stay on the colon cleanse for a minimum of 2-3 months, so you still need to continue this part!

    You’re gonna be pooping reaaal good then.

  64. 64 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 1:10 AM

    Ok, tell me. Is it a small or big difference? Is it something you changed (Drawing-wise) in the picture?

  65. 65 Canon98 11/09/2009 at 1:12 AM

    Small & Can’t say since it may give it away, Unless Shadow says it on his own.

  66. 66 Shadow 11/09/2009 at 1:14 AM

    Lord Random would be proud to see this day.

    *sniffle*

  67. 67 Kyzon 11/09/2009 at 1:19 AM

    Grrr Canon how the hell did you find it?

  68. 68 Canon98 11/09/2009 at 1:24 AM

    Because I found it the same way I found out Random’s “Something” thread at KittyCorp.
    Only a select few people know both Random’s and Shadow’s Answer.

  69. 69 Shukaku 11/09/2009 at 1:26 AM

    @Canon

    Like Me!!!

  70. 70 Shadow 11/09/2009 at 1:39 AM

    So what? You guys give up?

  71. 71 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 1:42 AM

    …One file is bigger..

    ..or they have different hash values.

  72. 72 Kyzon 11/09/2009 at 1:44 AM

    the difference is there is no difference?

  73. 73 Shadow 11/09/2009 at 1:45 AM

    Nope. There’s a difference.

  74. 74 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 1:47 AM

    This doesn’t make sense :U

    It’s not art-related. I’ve compared both images in cmd. It’s not file-related either, even though one is 394 bytes bigger and they have two different hash values. What is it, then? Something related to brawl?

  75. 75 Ice Kirby 11/09/2009 at 1:48 AM

    hmm….

  76. 76 Ice Kirby 11/09/2009 at 1:49 AM

    Transparent? LOL!

  77. 77 Shadow 11/09/2009 at 1:52 AM

    “What is it, then?”

    That’s what I should be asking you.

    It makes perfect sense!

    It’s Brawl related, why do you think I said this was a texture update in some way, shape, or form?

    Tell me when you guys give so I can let this die.

  78. 78 Kyzon 11/09/2009 at 1:58 AM

    if we give will you tell the answer >_>

  79. 79 Shadow 11/09/2009 at 2:02 AM

    Of course….

    Not.

  82. 82 Kyzon 11/09/2009 at 2:06 AM

    make this go to 100 >_>
    my brain is done

  83. 83 hallowvortex 11/09/2009 at 2:07 AM

    Its a texture on something that you took a snapshot of then uberly edited it so they look exactly the same.

  84. 84 shadowsquid86 11/09/2009 at 2:08 AM

    Texture related…?

    The edited one is indexed?

    It’s actually a CSP?

    There’s a spy in the base?

  85. 85 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 2:08 AM

    Wait a minute..I compared the files in hex and after about 10 minutes of searching, I found a weird message..

    Damn Rare Lite Congratulations.txt..or something like that. O.o

    Am I on the verge of winning?

  86. 86 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 2:09 AM

    I still don’t see how that is related to Brawl, though.

  87. 87 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 2:09 AM

    The difference is like the cake, a lie.

  90. 90 hallowvortex 11/09/2009 at 2:12 AM

    Also I searched google for years for that quote, WHY CAN’T I FIND IT.

  91. 91 Ice Kirby 11/09/2009 at 2:12 AM

    Piece of Cake!

  92. 92 n64billy 11/09/2009 at 2:13 AM

    Is one RGB and the other CMYK? (Just a stab in the dark)

  93. 93 Ice Kirby 11/09/2009 at 2:14 AM

    Maybe the edited one is a little dark….

  94. 94 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 2:14 AM

    Did anyone read my comment? I found a weird sentence in hex, which should not be there. It’s there in one picture (The bigger one) and not in the original one.

  95. 95 Shadow 11/09/2009 at 2:15 AM

    Wha? Are ya people just BS’in with comments to reach 100?

    4 comments left before closing.

  96. 96 Kyzon 11/09/2009 at 2:17 AM

    The Original.

    The edited one.

  99. 99 BigSharkZ 11/09/2009 at 2:18 AM

    Have fun.

  100. 100 Shadow 11/09/2009 at 2:21 AM

    Well done BSZ.

    Well done. *claps*

    The hex editor gave it away.
