I’m sure this post will fit right in

In the interest of turning my Mario Bros stage into an Arcade stage, where random arcade textures are chosen randomly (courtesy of Dantarion’s ASL engine) I have started my Arcade series.

The first was very tedious, but I can guarantee you it was built from the ground up, brick by brick. Literally -_-

Just so you know, when you hit the blocks, when they revert to their original tetris forms and start flashing, then you’ll know you can pick them up.

Beware the flaming Z and S blocks!

EDIT 11/19

Which floor do you guys prefer?

Clever title. Not to crazy about the texture though. Mostly because I never use this stage.

It’s a unique concept, but I’m not so sold on the base flooring. A bit too much, if you ask me.

Hey, always room for improvement. Took me a while to make the floor, but if you guys have a better idea, I’d love to hear it. You think I should’ve made the blocks bigger?

making the blocks bigger is a good idea, it makes it less crowded

The floor is really nice, but doesn’t fit with the other colors much. Can’t say how to improve it.

Wait a sec. If the turtles and sliders are in the common3.pac, how’d you edit they’re flipped stance?!

    Nice stage by the way.

I gots a question, is it possible to add music to captain falcon’s final smash? I want his FS to play the sixflags song. XD…….for real, can you do that?

I would go with number 2, it doesn’t hurt my eyes like #1.
However if you maybe doubled or increased the block size by 50%, then perhaps it could work better. 🙂

number 2 looks better number 1 hurts my eyes when i look to long at it

  15. 15 rawrzilla22 11/19/2009 at 2:37 PM

lol stop looking at it for too long xD

  16. 16 darkredscorpio 11/19/2009 at 8:10 PM

Number 2 looks better while number one looks like mini blocks.

  17. 17 Zeruel21 11/19/2009 at 8:54 PM

Both 1 and 2 are too much random color for me. Increasing the block size would be nice.

I think the floor shouldn’t look like the tetris blocks, but instead look like the hub that tells you which block is next and how many lines you’ve made.
