Me? Well…

1. I’ve been shifting and focusing more on school related things than Textures and stuff. I have a great Math teacher but he assigns a lot of homework and to top it off I have a 6-7 page explanatory essay due 2 weeks from now and tomarro (I know I spelled it wrong) I have my computer science final! I…. yea you get it.

2. My friends mom died so I went to her memorial service yesterday. She had cancer and fought it for 3 years. I’ve been helping him feel better. RIP Margaret Guinasso

I’ve also been playing through LoZ: Wind Waker again and I’ve noticed I’m paying more attention to the art this time around. I never realized how beautifle it rlly was. Gonna play though Okami again next and I’m looking forward to it. (btw my record for beating the game stands at 12 hours 26 min)

And finally…. animations. If u pay any attention to smashboards brawlbox can edit animations now! I’ve been messing around with this and heres something I made. Everything in this is custom made, no external animations used and no parts of animations used.

EDIT: Changed a couple of things to make him look even more badass. U will c my first animation in my next post

EDIT2: Tried the finished animation out and it didn’t look very good so I’m making another one >.> o well

    Hello fireking! Sorry to hear all about this. My deepest sympathies to your friend.

    Anyways I ‘d like to thank you for your help on getting textures working for me, I hope I didn’t add to the stress.

    Nah dont worry about it, I’m doing a good job at cheering him up and he’s getting better. Thx for your sympathy though.

    Regarding the texture thing, no problem I’m glad to help and if u need anything else u can always contact me and nno u didnt add to my stress, I have a long weekend and Turkey comin mah way 😀

    It’s okay. You can take your time to do whatever you want to do. I have lots of work to, just finished two exams this week and got one Monday (Was Friday but got moved to Monday because of our religious holiday). I also feel sorry for what happened to your friend. I myself have sick parents, and it’s sad seeing them like that. As for the pictures, I didn’t visit the forums in a while so I didn’t know you could do that. Will think of things to do with this now. Good job.

    Excellent work on making a new stance for Ike, it looks fantastic! I had a shot at trying to make custom animations but the bone rotations and which part affects which got too confusing for me. How long did it take you to get that stance/understand how the bones work?

    You’ll probably hear a bit about it, but good work on keeping your friend company.
    Nice work with school as well, I never was good at managing that.

    Keep everything up, I’ll be checking back to see how this goes =]

    How long? It took about 3 hours, 2 hours for actually puting Ike into that stance and 1 hour for fine tuning and minor tweeks. I tried to give him the “I’m better than you” look. For Bones, I alredy have a concept of how bones work so it was pretty easy. I only have edited one keyframe so far.

    I feel sorry about your friend fireking220, hope your friend feels btter. also relating to school work I have to do a powerpoint about somethings about me. i’m gonna use my fan characters for some parts in it. hey BigSharkZ can you tell me how to make a character invisible.

    ok cool but remember ONLY edit the keyframes. Eidting every frame will produce more keyframes and rack up the filesize.

    just change the polygon data in a hex editor to 0’s

    Whenever I try to preview a texture and the animations, the model is always WAY too big and I can’t see it properly.

    I’m just enjoying the ability to take external animations and make them the right size. I took the Manchu up-taunt thing and made it the right proportions and now it actually looks like a Pikachu and not some horrible monstrosity.

    in PSA there should be a command for removing models. I dont know wat it is exactly though. Look on kittycorp

    Yeah, I’ve had a lot of crap do deal with lately too… not quite like that, but still.

    Also, good to see some other people screwing around with animations. I was kind of hoping to be the first to make a post with it, but ya beat me to it, dangit.

    Ah well. I look forward to seeing this incorporated into a moveset (like I’m doing :D).

    I will incorperate this into a moveset too but it will be for a texture that I havent done yet but a series of textures I am doing now 😀

    Its gonna be sweet

    EDIT: after some tweeks I managed to make him look a lot more badass u will c my first completed animation in my next post
