Norfair? More like No Fair, right?

Srsly. Doesn’t it suck when you’re Brawling happily along when suddenly, lava geyser blarrgh ur dead? We want to fight the enemy, not the battle grounds.

Thankfully, you can now play on a more fair Norfair. No completely not fair lava falls, waves, or geysers will bother you here. Just the rising lava, and that’s nothing new. (well, it’s usually acid…)

Brinstar? Never heard of it. This, friends, is Fair Norfair.

… although, if someone could hack regular Norfair so those three things didn’t happen, that would rock generous amounts of sock.

Yeah, I did this and posted it back in October.

I still prefer Norfair to Brinstar..

Brinstar is way too cramped, has awkwardly placed platforms, and the destructible parts are retarded.

Norfair, while it does have a lot of hazards, is very open, making it easy to avoid these hazards, and even other players while avoiding these hazards. You don’t have to have contact unlike on Brinstar.

Not to mention I’ve never actually been hit by those lava pillars.. <.< (When I could see them. Phazonfair owned me because they were invisible. XD)

@Lexx Really D:? I CP brinstar to help me playing Chain grab happy people then when they get stupid combo off of acid hits and the fact I think norfair blastzones are to high :<

XD I really hate platforms in general. They complicate my playing style far too much. The only ones I like are the platforms on Halberd, Yoshi’s Island, and Smashville. Battlefield’s platforms are also far too cramped for me. So, it’s no wonder Brinstar is too cramped for me.

As for the blastzones, yes, they are too high, but it’s not like they come all too often, and they’re fairly easy to dodge or shield.

Also, I ban either Brinstar or Luigi’s Mansion, because those are my two least favorite CP’s.

The Brinstar and Brinstar Depths (Should have been called ‘Kraid’) from SSBM look nothing like what they should. I agree with Lexx about it being cramped, although I still like the stage.

Actually, I do like Norfair a bit more than Brinstar. Brinstar’s lower and upper boundaries are too low, the acid always looks like it’s farther down than it really is, and it’s somehow immune to the stage speed modifier code. Still, I hate all three of Norfair’s hazards because they divert attention away from the fight in progress and turn it into dodgeball or king of the hill.
