That’s some serious wood…

Ambiguous titles for the win?

Since WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY, I was able to revamp my old Wood Zone texture. Wood Zone is a level that was cut from Sonic 2, but was accessible via the debug menu. I made it for Oizen’s Sonic project, but I wasn’t cool enough. =[

Changes:

-Background of New Pork (edited)

-Lighting of New Pork

-Green Apples (Granny Smith?)

-Cleaned up some textures

-The buildings have been changed to a Sonic scene

    That’s awesome! Way better than before, But still not what I’m looking for in a Wood Zone texture hack.

    That’s what she said.
    *shot*

    (Sweet texture, by the way. Generally if it’s a Sonic-themed stage it’s insta-win for me.)

    What would I do to improve it? The only thing I could think of would be honest to goodness model hacking, maybe making it into a scrolling stage.

    Don’t worry about It, You’ll see what I mean when I make my own version.

    I’m happy for the revamp, but that pink silver ruined the mood.

    You should see him on Jungle Japes. 😛

    Does the invinbility box replace the bomb? If it does you should replace it by an eggman monitor instead (you know the one from Sonic 3)!Anyway good job it’s much better, keep up your good work

    It does. I did the Invincibility box because A) the Eggman box isn’t in Sonic 2 and B) A bunch of Eggman faces would look a little odd. 😛

    @shadowsquid86

    what does he look like there.

    Um…let’s just say that magenta is the new silver.

  12. 12 darkredscorpio 01/17/2010 at 10:19 PM

    WOW. it’s come to my attention that silver won’t be in brawl until his texture is fixed(no offense) unless you can use that for any other sonic character.

    Well, a Silver on Sonic won’t work, but if someone can successfully import the GHZ model, we shouldn’t have a problem.

    I remember playing this level.

    @shadowsquid86

    Idea, why not make him gray, it won’t capture his real color but it’s better than nothing, and if that don’t work then oh well.

    I know that the box are not from Sonic 2 but it make much more sense for 2 reason:

    1.)Dr.Eggman is evil, so box with his face on it can’t be a good sign.

    2.)A bunch of Eggman face look odd to you?First of all, there is not that mush of Eggman boxes compare to the among of ring boxes not to mention that the real odd thing is that a box that suppose to give you the imortality of a god do quite the opposite by killing you in a split sec.

    It seem better to me to make a mistake about the time period(that you’re aware of)by puting an Eggman monitor than make a mistake about pure logic (It kind of like if the starman could kill you)
