…OK, what is going on here? Where is the audience? And more important, where are the lights?
Blackout?! Then why are the battlefield and the main screen still working?
“Because shut up”? What do you mean by this?
Ah, screw it…
I present you… Blackout Stadium!
Its good, but… why? it essentially has no point 😛
IT’S FINALLY DEAD! YES!
@Lexx: you don’t like the pokemon stadium?
also calamatis I have an idea for you, how about making the New Island stadium Mewtwo set up in the first movie?
(I’ve watched that movie so many times I can go through the whole film lip-syncing lol)
Pro trainers battle AFTER the stadium has closed.
And +10 internetz for a YGO:TAS reference.
I hate Pokemon Stadium 2.
1. It has ice.
2. It has floaty bullshit.
3. It has those treadmill things.
It would be a perfectly legitimate stage if it just stayed neutral, but NOOOOOOO. Sakurai decided to cater to casual players, too.
LOOOL
I personally dont see how including a non-final destination stage is “catering to casual players.” >.>
ROFL, YGOTAS reference!! XD
@ Xaranid
Final Destination isn’t completely neutral. It’s being considered as a CP. ANYWAY, it could still change forms, just without all of those stupid floor type and physics bullshit. Like another PS1, but with different forms.
@Xaranid
It’s because the insufferable group among us know as “Competitive players”, Think that games are meant to cater to their own personal selfish wants and don’t realize that video games are meant to be played for fun.
And darkshadedx, You think THIS is pointless? You wanna know what’s pointless? Over saturating the colors of a costume already in the game, And making no other changes, Or changes so minimal that there is/almost is no difference from the original. That is pointless.
Anyway, This is a really awesome stage you get here. It’s a good idea and I think It’s executed well.
@Lexx
I wouldn’t necessarily describe it as catering to the casual. I find hazards are a pain in the ass, but imo navigating a stage is all part of the game. Everyone has to avoid the obstacles and if you can manage to do that and still kick ass then it shows you have more skill than doing so on a more basic stage BUT that’s just my opinion. I know there’s many different views on that throughout the community XD Though regardless of that I must agree that I hate Stadium 2. Strictly for its stupid conveyor belts though. The wind isn’t so bad and ice… Well I can put up with ice, let’s just say that.
Pokemon Sucks!
Stop enslaving small animals to fight for your amusement!
Needs an empty brstm for the right ambience:P
Definitely downloading.
@KHRZ
I was going to say the same thing.
@Lexx true that lol. I like PS2’s ledges compared to PS1 but the stage transitions are just BS.
why doesnt nyone do this to pokmon stadium 1?
I agree with Lexx because I don’t like that trendmill. anyways nice stage texture Calamitas.
Woah, nice. Looks quite dead, quite dead indeed… Appears someone forgot to pay the electric bill. That, or one of the Pkmn generating the place got stuck in the gears again.
@Lexx: I thought the entirety of Brawl was catering to casual?
@ S.
Pretty much.. Sakurai fucked up.
God bless Masahiro Sakurai!
(And I don’t even believe in God.)
Wow… This looks kinda like somewhere you would fight Mewtwo… Or something. XD
Anyway nice job with this stage.
I would very much enjoy it if it replaced the first pokemon stadium. But this one is still nice
Interesting… I wouldve put team rocket in the background and put an “R” in the middle of the stage and called it Rocket Stadium. But, still, this is pretty cool.
