Finally Uploaded Some Projects (UPDATE: New Stage Project)

I’ve finally gotten around to uploading a few of my projects for you all!

Ridley Destination! (Ignore the Blade Knight in that picture. The one in this picture is an older version.)

Update: New stage project. See the rest of the post.

Here’s what I’ve uploaded at the time of posting:

  • Extended Mario Kart stage (The Mario Kart stage with collision data for the entire model from tip to tip)
  • Ridley Destination V2 (Beta) (Rather old, but almost finished. I’m probably going to make a few tweaks before I call it done. This stage WILL NOT cause the game to desynch with replays and online battles because it was made before we could edit collisions :P)
  • 2D Hyrule Castle N64 (I released this a while ago on Smash Boards, but I figured I’d upload it here. It’s basically a drawing I did of Hyrule Castle. It’s not very pretty but it works.)
  • Viewtiful Joe (Only has a few animations currently… But the skin is done)

Get them here.

Also, a small update on Blade Knight:

Fixed his shoulders. Head still needs a lot of work...

UPDATE: I thought I’d show you all another project I’m working on:

SSB N64's Hyrule Castle!

Some textures are temporary, and I gotta work on a few things, but this is what I have so far. I’ll try to get it as close to the original as possible.

(Also, the level is scaled too small in that picture, I’ll be fixing that.)

  11. 12 fireking220 03/10/2010 at 10:24 AM

    @marioking64DS

    BSZ said he will release zero and all of his costumes when its done (that means animations, psa, and glitches/bugs), calm down geez.

  12. 13 Val Halen 03/10/2010 at 11:43 AM

    Seeing Blade Knight on Ridley Destination gave me an idea… WHy don’t you make a Item Hack and replace the Dragoon for Ridley? XD

  13. 14 thanyou 03/10/2010 at 12:19 PM

    Bsz, how is it that Esh have 3,491,765 hits??? That’s an insane increase from a month ago when it had just topped 3,000,000

  14. 15 secretchaos1 03/10/2010 at 12:35 PM

  20. 21 hardcorebrawlhacks 03/10/2010 at 5:22 PM

    Blade Knight looks amazing, cant wait till you finish the hair and complete him!

  21. 22 hallowvortex 03/10/2010 at 5:37 PM

    @Zephron
    Yes they already made it, but this one matches his looks more correctly.

  22. 23 KuroBit 03/10/2010 at 8:54 PM

    @joshl92 – Oh really? Cool o_o.

    @Val Halen – Haha that would be interesting. I’m not sure how I’d get it to work, but if I did, that would be funny to see (Especially if your playing as Ridley on Ridley Destination).

    @secretchaos1 – Sorry, no Final Falcon Punch yet. I hope I can work on it a bit before I release it, but if I never get around to it, I’ll just release like how it is in the video.

    @Zephron – Oh really? I’d like to see this, do you have a link? I tried searching for it, but all I found was a skin…

    @Marioking64DS – I can’t say, I haven’t been actively working on the project at all recently… (Sorry x_x)

    @Everyone – Thanks XD

    I’m going to update the post in a couple of minutes to show the beginning of another project I’m working on.

  23. 24 BigSharkZ 03/10/2010 at 9:19 PM

    Really cool, I like how it turned out after so many tests, can’t wait for its release. =3

  24. 25 joshl92 03/10/2010 at 9:43 PM

    @Kurobit
    yea i’ve been wokring on them
    I made a jumpf animation(not that good)
    and i made a jumpaerialf and b animation(it was supposed to be based off of his double jump from the game.it turned out ok but i think i can fix it.)
    I also resize him for some other animations.
    I might be able to make a video tonight to show you how it looks in game

  25. 26 Jose Gallardo 03/10/2010 at 10:20 PM

    Nice Stage hack! Can’t wait for that to be released.

  26. 27 Nick G. 03/10/2010 at 11:40 PM

    You are Awesome!!!

    Finally the best stage from SSB will be in Brawl, Heres an idea for a stage hack that would work and no mess you up if your online: Metal Bros. Stage, from SSB should replace Battle Field, since it wasn’t a playable stage from SSB unless you had Gameshark for the N64. 🙂

  27. 28 Marioking64DS 03/11/2010 at 4:53 AM

    @KuroBit
    …D:
    man i would love to have that X model XD

    (Dumb Question) would i be able to help out with the Zero?

  28. 29 Squilliam 03/11/2010 at 9:41 AM

    beautiful, man! Is Hyrule Castle a vertex hack? or lots of 2D planes set up to look like a 3D model?

  29. 30 Mewtwo2000 03/11/2010 at 10:20 AM

    Nice work with that Hyrule Castle 64 😉

  30. 31 Mewtwo2000 03/11/2010 at 11:12 AM

    @Squillian
    I’m pretty sure they are stage builder blocks, there’s no point in doing a vertex hack or lots of 2D planes when standard cubes exist ^^U

  31. 32 Techno Assassin 03/11/2010 at 12:05 PM

    Epic n64 Hyrule Castle!
    That was easily the coolest stage from that game!

  32. 33 SMT Xero 03/11/2010 at 12:24 PM

    Hyrule is looking nice so far, i just hope it dose not go over final D

  33. 34 shyamin1 03/11/2010 at 1:10 PM

    I have a question.
    Say that you already have a final destination texture but you want another one without replacing the first texture. Is there a way to do that?
    Thanks.

  34. 35 shaymin1 03/11/2010 at 1:15 PM

    Is there a way of getting 2 textures for the same stage without phantom wings custom SSS code?
    I just dont want my menu to look like that lol.

  35. 36 DASDONKEYTEAM(WELL NOT REALLY) 03/11/2010 at 4:00 PM

    ur better than BigSharkZ

  36. 37 darkredscorpio 03/11/2010 at 4:48 PM

    Nice job Kurobit on blade knight.

  37. 38 mariorocks64 03/11/2010 at 6:18 PM

    I’m amazed and angered at the same time by the Hyrule Castle.

    It looks nice, but I wanted to do it. But go ahead! keep going! Good luck!

  38. 39 nil 03/11/2010 at 7:05 PM

    Wow. This is so awesome. Can you release a beta of your blade knight vertex awesome? Also, can you try remaking Saffron city from SSB 64

  39. 40 Plasmakirby 03/11/2010 at 7:19 PM

    yea, i want a beta of blade knight

  40. 41 b2j135 03/11/2010 at 7:51 PM

    If you finish Hyrule Castle and make it just like the 64 version, I will make you 10 dozen chocolate chip-peanut butter cookies!

  41. 42 merit 03/11/2010 at 8:31 PM

    @ DASdonkeyteam(wellnotreally) people like you need to go in a hole and not get out. Noob, Do you think is fun for BSZ to read a comment like that ? besides they on the same team idiot.

  42. 43 jcgamer 03/11/2010 at 8:51 PM

    Nice job with Hyrule Castle! My only criticism so far is that the far left platform needs to be a green sloped roof.

    Good luck with it, I can’t wait to see how you do the green tower on the right. Now if only we could hack tornadoes into the level…

  43. 44 kingzeox 03/11/2010 at 11:33 PM

    Awesome new Castle. Cant wait for it to be done. You need to make tutorials on vertex hacking cuz your work is just too unbelievable

  44. 45 KuroBit 03/12/2010 at 7:05 PM

    @SMT Xero – I’ll attempt to port it over a few stages so people can choose, but I think I’ll mainly try to get it working on rainbow road (Or whatever that stage is called.) since it’s fairly unpopular.

    @DASDONKEYTEAM – I’m hoping that was a joke…

    @mariorocks64 – Ah, sorry about that… But to be fair, I was thinking of making this stage for a long time too, I just ended up doing it first :P.

    @nil and Plasmakirby – Maybe… 😛 (Probably when I fix up the head a bit I will)

    @b2j135 – *Starts working faster* XD

    @jcgamer – Don’t worry, I just haven’t added that green section on the left yet, I’m saving the things I have to edit the vertices of for later. I’ll try to get that tower looking the the in-game version. I have an idea on how to get it fairly close. And if it’s possible, I might try adding tornadoes somehow :P. (But not until I get the level working normally…)

    @kingzeox – Oh, there isn’t a tutorial yet? I guess I could make one on YouTube at some point…

  45. 46 Plasmakirby 03/12/2010 at 8:43 PM

    @kurobit

    meant to ask you earlier, but after your done with blade knight, do you think you could do sword knight? i would love to see a battle between the two. i think you could just move the mask on top of his body, edit the mask, and maybe thin him up a little, but i know nothin about vertex editing.

  46. 47 Garrett223 03/12/2010 at 8:51 PM

    Am I the only fucking one who does not know how to make stages from scratch?! oh, and PlasmaKirby, need any animation help with rotom? I wuv him *fanboy squeal*

  47. 48 Plasmakirby 03/12/2010 at 8:55 PM

  51. 52 TheLeanMachine 03/14/2010 at 2:22 PM

    do you do psa kurobit

  52. 53 Val Halen 03/17/2010 at 3:03 PM

    It’s possible to make Hyrule Castle replace another stage by just renaming it? (I wanted to make it replace Rumble Falls or Flat Zone 2)…

  53. 54 TheLeanMachine 04/02/2010 at 3:34 PM

    BigSharkZ whats the link for your mediafire account

  54. 55 CloneMega 04/02/2010 at 10:17 PM

    @Marioking64DS
    You made me want to see just how the X model looks like.

  55. 56 XZedkiel 04/03/2010 at 6:36 PM

    Just wondering, but how is Blade Knight doing progress-wise? I can’t wait to have him, Sir Kibble, Trident Knight, and Galacta Knight fighting on one stage. That would be freakin’ awesome!

  56. 57 fuck 07/09/2013 at 9:01 AM

    Your style is really unique compared to other folks I
    have read stuff from. I appreciate you for posting when you’ve got the opportunity, Guess I’ll just book mark this
