This hack got updated sooner than I expected…

Yeah, Vaati again. Only this time, I actually used an idea that Pik came up with, and gave him a cape! That, and I used this cape for two minor Toon Link textures that I am sharing now.

Since I already said enough about Vaati the last time, I’ll just say some things about the cape itself.
This thing was made from Toon Link’s second shield, the one that appears on his back. With a bone edit made by dingoberriz, this shield always shows up, and now makes a quite excellent, but not animated, cape.

The two Toon Link textures are just rather random things that make use of this model. The one is him wearing the Roc’s Cape from Minish Cap, while the other is just a cape that is supposed to go with Toon Link’s outfit.

Oh, and by the way:
None of this will be ported over Lucas. Stop asking.

Anyway, downloadz.

    That vaati texture is looking great! Animating it would be a challenge…

    Not to be rude or anything, but isn’t this exactly the same vertex for the shield that Pik made for Geno?

    If you just copied the Geno model part from that on to this, shame on you for not giving him credit.

    If not, and you did it all by yourself, shame on you for not doing that, or at least using it as a base, in which case, it should still be credited.

    This is my own cape. I did make it myself, and the BrawlVault description DOES credit Pik for the idea of turning the second shield into a cape. Your argument is invalid.

    This turtle is a burger by the way. This makes your argument even more invalid.

    Good job with the cape. And I think It’s completely necessary that someone make a Turtle Burger out of Squirtle.

    So if capes are possible to add now (maybe it was hard enough for just T. Link, but…), is it also possible that someone could possibly add a cape to Captain Falcon? My old Phoenix hack just had the scarf colored like his cape since he doesn’t have a scarf, same goes for Super Arrow, which is not as good, but still has a cape.

    @Mochtroid127

    I already saw Captain Falcon with a cape (Made from his scarf of course), But I don’t know where It can be downloaded. 😦

    Roc’s cape was also in the oracle of seasons game… and four swords.

    I think the only thing left is to make the cap come closer to his face, and to do something with the sword.
